Release: 10 Days to Embrace God's Plan for Your Lifeنموونە
Through our union with Christ, we too have been claimed by God as His own inheritance. Before we were even born, He gave us our destiny; that we would fulfill the plan of God who always accomplishes every purpose and plan in His heart. EPHESIANS 1:11 THE PASSION TRANSLATION
Being united with Christ starts in our hearts. The place of our belief is the soul of our faith. The unseen world responds to where we put our faith, and our union with Christ allows us to walk in boldness as His sons and daughters. The comforting thing about this journey is that God knows what the end will be. He knows why we were created, and He gave us our destiny before we were formed. While life may feel out of control, God is never out of control. Each moment, He knows. When we change our words from “God, show me how to find my purpose” to “God, show me Your purpose,” we position ourselves to see His glory in our lives. That glory is the radiance of His heart through us. When we allow the Son to shine through our lives, we are able to see His hands and His plans.
Have you ever cleaned your entire kitchen only to come back an hour later to see a spot you missed? You think to yourself “How did I miss that?? I thought I cleaned this top to bottom,” Could it be that the sun shines in different places through the kitchen window at 8 a.m. than it does at 2 p.m., so what was hidden in the morning is revealed in the afternoon? Think about it—What areas of your life are unseen because you haven’t allowed His light to shine through them? Only when you allow God to shine, do the impatient and ambitious sides of your begin to settle, and you can release the “doer” in you and rest in God’s plan.
Prayer:
Father, shine through my life in ways I have never seen. Help me stop doing so much and help me rest in You more. I want Your purpose, not my own. I want Your will, not my own. I want Your plans, not my own.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
