7 Days Focused on Living Joyfullyنموونە
Hope of Glory
Through faith we have gained access to God’s grace and we can boast in the hope of the glory of God. We don’t need to figure out every detail of our faith, but God does call us to have it, and we can grow and cultivate our faith by spending time in God’s Word. His presence will bring us contentment and remind us of just how much we have to be thankful for, and a grateful heart often means a content soul.
When we focus on our Creator, the issues of this world tend to fade away. No matter what season of life you find yourself in, you are never outside God’s love, provision, promises, or goodness.
Reflect: The “hope of glory” mentioned in Colossians is “Christ in you.” What does that phrase mean to you personally?
Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for living in me. I am grateful for the mystery of our faith and the hope that you give us in Christ’s glory. Amen.

About this Plan
Our culture encourages instant gratification, promoting must-have brands, conveniences, and luxuries, but dissatisfaction often results. True, lasting contentment cannot be found in worldly things. Jesus wants our hearts to overflow with joy, and he offers it freely. Lydia McLaughlin’s devotions are full of power to apply Scripture, speak prayer, and start each day with a fresh promise.
