I Can Become in You What You Never Deemed Possible

In God, there is so much hope. The way he sees and thinks is not like we see and think. His perspective offers newness and light, goodness, and all possibilities.

In our dialogue with God, on Day 1 of this plan, we heard: “I can move in you in new ways. I can become in you what you never deemed possible.” Let’s pause here and ask Holy Spirit what He is talking about!

What desire is He bringing to life in you? What newness is He offering? What movement? What possibility does He speak about that you struggle to see?

Do you have a few minutes to ask Him these questions?

When you do—and you carve out moments and minutes to sit with Him—let your mind settle down a bit. What might help is closing your eyes and actually not having your mind speak too many words. Instead, invite Holy Spirit to show you images of what God might have for you to see. Another technique to try is praying with a pen in your hand. To pray at greater length with God, you might you are able to focus on the conversation Holy Spirit is having in your heart by using words—allowing your mind to process what your heart is feeling by writing it down: what you say to God and what God or Jesus or Holy Spirit says back.

So will you pause for a few moments, rereading those first two lines of his words, and ask Him what He means—what He wants to show, specifically, to you?
