Who Am Iنموونە
It must have been an incredible couple of days thousands of years ago when God created all of the animals and the birds. The world went from empty ground to wriggling with life. Into the blank canvas of the world stretched creatures with long, necks. Stompy, massive four-legged creatures with trunks. Squeaky, small animals with long tails scampering in the grass. Fluttery creatures with wings sprinted through the sky and filled the earth with song. God formed animal after animal after animal out of the ground with a tremendous amount of creativity. And when He finished, He stopped. God finished with His artistry and handed the final flourish to Adam, the first person created to live alongside Him. It’s an act that God would only trust with a friend. God honored Adam’s naming of His masterpieces. He trusted Adam to take the reins of naming and ruling over the creatures. He trusted Adam because He made him. What a beautiful reality. Like Adam that day, God is trusting us with what He’s given us.
We are to partner with Him, with His Spirit inside of us, to live as He has called us to live. Why? Because we are His friends, created for a purpose we can only discover in walking closely alongside God.

About this Plan
How would you define what makes up your identity? Maybe you define who you are by what you do or how you perform. While all of those things may be pieces of who you are, those definitions can change. Let’s take those questions about our identity to God to see what He has to say. As we do, we’ll discover that God wants us to find our identity rooted in the firm foundation of truth—rooted in who He says we are.
