Finding and Flourishing in Your Place in the Churchنموونە
THE CHURCH IS FOUNDED AND DEFENDED BY GOD
When God brings you to join a ministry that He founded, you are not to only join but to also find out the history behind that church. What did God say to the person that received the original instructions at the start of the church? What are the covenants that God gave to that person? The knowledge of this information will become part of your defense mechanism and supernatural vehicles provided for your journey in the world.
However, many churches have become more like businesses these days. Many people come into ministry today without having a call from God. After studying courses like Vision Analysis in modern-day Bible Schools, many young ministers develop visions as cooked-up statements, bypassing God, the Owner of the Church. A church should never be started based on human ideas or the vision of a smart person who has studied after other men of God. God is not going to support such a gathering with His power. The people in such gatherings will be endangered in the spirit because they will not have a divine cover.
At the first mention of “Church” in the Bible in Matthew 16:18, the next phrase is ”and the gates of hell”. That immediately tells us that a church is a spiritual entity that will be confronted by the forces of hell. The only guarantee of victory is if the church is founded and empowered by God. Jesus said, “I will build MY Church….” The Church is not man’s idea, it is Jesus’. Make sure the Church you belong to is from Jesus.
PRAYER: Father, help me to identify, belong, and be planted in Your Church. The gates of hell will not prevail against me in Jesus’ name. Amen!

About this Plan
After genuine salvation, God places His children in a church family where they can flourish, blossom, bud, and fill the face of the earth with fruits. Church is God-ordained and when He brings you to a church, beyond a seat in the church, He gives you a spot in your pastor’s heart. This 30-day study would lead you into an experience and understanding of correct church membership.
