DAY 5 OF 7

"Oh the Power"

The love of God is something I don’t think we will ever be able to fully understand. It’s so vast, so high, so wide, and so deep that at the mere thought of it, I can’t help but worship and thank Him.

And to think that a God so perfect, so majestic, and so glorious would sacrifice His only begotten Son for us is shocking to me. Yet the Apostle Paul describes it in this way in Romans 5:8: “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

There on the hill
You surrendered Your will ...
“For they know not what they do”
Grief in Your heart
Your hands bear the scars
Of a love that led You to the tomb

- From "Oh the Power"

Truly, it was love that led Jesus to give Himself up for us. And it’s still His love that draws us into deeper fellowship with Him.

Are you aware of His love? Do you receive it?

As you receive a greater revelation of the love He has for you, it’s then you will be able to give that same kind of unconditional love to others. May that be your prayer every day as it is mine.
