Real Hope: Hopeنموونە
Hope In Him
Hope is a small word that wears really big shoes. Hope is attached to something we want, or something we need and the opposite of hope is fear. We are afraid that what we want, and need, won’t happen. Hope looks forward to when life isn’t as hard as it is right now.
The problem comes when we lock onto a negative – one of those things that we hope won’t happen. But this is not the meaning of the hope we find in the Bible. The Lord wants us to know that when we hope in Him, that hope is absolute. God’s hope is founded on who and what He is. We can look to the Lord and be confident and secure, knowing that whatever cares we have we can cast upon Him.
David knew this. In Psalm 55:22 we’re told that the Lord will sustain us. If we’re walking with Him, then we won’t be shaken.
We know that God’s steadfast love never ceases, His mercies never come to an end. Through His son Jesus Christ, God is our portion. He is everything we need, and we can and should hope in Him alone.
He is our help and our shield. In Him our hearts should rejoice. All our trust should be put into His holy name. With His unfailing love surrounding us, our hope is in Him alone.
Each of us should be glad in our hearts knowing that God really does offer the most perfect hope, the most wonderful, uplifting, sustaining and positive hope.

About this Plan
Hope is a word that Christians and non-Christians use every day. In moments of sadness, grief and loss, hope is the word used to encourage and spur people on. But we know that hope has an eternal meaning. In this plan, together we’ll dive into the understanding of the eternal meaning of hope and how this hope we hold in our hearts has the power to impact a world in search of it.
