Five Days in Creation for Parents and Kidsنموونە
Today: Take a brief walk early in the morning, watching for birds.
Say something like:
As we walk, listen very closely for any birds you may hear. Let’s try to mimic their songs.
(Spend a few minutes listening and then trying to replicate the chirping you hear. Find a warm, sunny spot where you can lie in the grass on your backs and look up at the clouds.)
What do you see in the clouds? Sometimes the clouds look like pictures! Do you feel the warm sun on your skin and feel the wind in your hair?
These things—cloud pictures, happy, warm sunshine, and gentle breezes—are God-given gifts. He created all of these things! Their beauty and uniqueness show us how He is lovely and a one-of-a-kind creator.
Everyone hears the echoes of God’s song through His creation every day. The whisper of the wind, the songs of the birds, and even the sun's warmth are all reminders of His constant love for us.
Pray: Close with a prayer thanking God for all you’ve seen in creation today. Pause in the prayer for your little one to name those things aloud.

About this Plan
Each day, take a walk with your little one to a different destination in creation and hear the unique songs of joy that praise God there. Using five different Psalms, you’ll explore the delight of the sun, moon, stars, earth, sky, water, and animals. You and your child will learn to praise God in a new way during this five-day devotional.
