10 Pillars : Building a Life in Godنموونە

Thou shall not kill!
Life, no man can create, and God alone can create life. So, God forbids us to kill, to commit murder. However, it must be understood that God refers to all unfounded killings here.
Jesus teaches us that even anger is similar to murder and that it is punishable.
We can defend ourselves by saying that we did not kill anyone and have committed no actual murder. Anger, however, causes us to generate many evil thoughts, and like Cain, we can leave room for manslaughter.
- But how many murders and killings did we commit in our thoughts and minds?
- How many times have we 'killed' children, husbands, wives, employers, neighbours, parents, in-laws, and many others in our thoughts?
The society of our generation champions several 'social murders' such as abortion, euthanasia, etc. How can we remain insensitive or even agree with that?
Let's take the time to let ourselves be softened by the word of God. Let us seek to love, to discover love, to forgive, to build and defend life! Let's not let anger lead us to kill 'mentally'.
Let us ensure that the Pillar of Life is firmly fixed in our lives.
