Equipped to Standنموونە
Ephesians 6:13-14 says, “Therefore, put on the full armor of God so when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground. And after you have done everything to stand, stand.” We are equipped to stand. God would not give us a command we could not accomplish through him.
The Lord has delegated the ability to carry out his will to his people. You are part of that people. You are called to carry out the Lord’s will. If you are unsure that God is for you, you will never be able to stand. Because you don’t know the difference between God’s fingerprints and the enemy’s fingerprints, you have so much fear that you don’t pick a side.
Some people are suffering because they are unsure of God’s will. They have lost, and it hasn’t felt like God is for them. But the thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Fix your eyes on eternity; even in loss, God is working all things out for good because your loved one is with him in eternity, waiting for you to arrive.
God is your father. He is for you and loves everything about you. He came to bring you life. If you can simply agree with life, you will always be in his will. You have a good father, who loves you, who is for you, who came to bring you life and life to the full. Never agree with death. Disagree with the thief who came to steal, kill, and destroy. When you see the enemy stealing and killing, when there is death, turn away from it. Rebuke it. Tell it to go in the name of Jesus. Speak the blood of Jesus over those circumstances and say, “Lord, I apply the blood that Jesus spilled to pay for this for me, my loved one, and stranger on the street corner. I agree with life.”
Do not forget: everything you need for life and godliness is in you and for you through the knowledge of him, your father, God. Now go stand firm.
