A Family Without Vision
Where there is no vision, the people perish: But he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Proverbs 29:18 KJV
Men, where there is no vision, the people perish. A family without vision will shrivel and perish. The Amplified Version expounds upon Proverbs 29:18 AMPC in the following manner, “Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish; but he who keeps the law [of God, which includes that of man]–blessed (happy, fortunate, and enviable) is he.”
Where there is no redemptive revelation of God—families perish. In other words, where there is no revealed revelation of God—the people perish. Fathers who have a revelation of their family will succeed. Husbands who have a revealed revelation of their wife will prosper. Seek God for revelation. Seek God for insight. Seek God for direction.
A visionless family will soon shipwreck. Seek God for every aspect of your life. Seek God for every aspect of your destiny. You will succeed when God gives you insight and direction for your next step.
Psalm 37:23 KJV declares, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: And he delighteth in his way.” May God direct your steps. May He lead and guide your decisions. May He guide your path. The Lord orders the steps of a God-led man.
When you seek God and seek His Way—He will show you what path to take. The Amplified Version expounds upon Psalm 1:2 AMPC in the following manner, “But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night.”
Choose to study His Word. Choose to habitually meditate and ponder on His Word day and night. Choose to write His Principles, Precepts, and Instruction upon the walls of your heart and grasp the Vision of God.
