Year of the Bible: Part Seven of Twelveنموونە

Christ is Victorious
Isaiah's words echo God's prophetic words when he says, "There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit." Isaiah describes an anointed righteous One who will set the world free from the powers of darkness and echoes the first prophecy ever given, which announced just this: a descendant of Eve would crush the head of the serpent who originally deceived humanity into joining in his rebellion (Genesis 3:15).
We are living in the fruit of the Righteous One right now. God wants to use you and work through you to establish Jesus' Kingdom further. Jesus is victorious, and we walk in His victory now.
Question: Jesus is the answer this broken world needs. How do you think He wants to use you this week to be an answer to prayer for someone who is looking for Him?
Prayer: Willingness is more important to God than skill and talent. Pray this prayer today: Lord God, I am willing to serve You. Teach me, guide me, and grant me the courage to obey You, for Your glory and honor and for the sake of Your name, King Jesus. Amen and Amen!
