Rooted in God's Presenceنموونە
The presence of the Spirit of God and the power of God have not diminished across the span of history, no matter the context. If you give yourself to the Lord, there will be people who will watch and wonder, “I know that person, and I don’t understand how that could happen.” Then you will be able to say, “Let me tell you what the Lord has done for me!”
The church in every generation needs to understand the fullness of what Jesus did on the cross, and that will be possible only with the help of the Holy Spirit. We no longer have the luxury of quibbling about subtle differences in the practice of our faith. We need one another, and we need to stand together in the truth of God and the unity of the Spirit so that we can bring glory and honor to Jesus in our world today.
I wholeheartedly agree with what Paul wrote to the Romans: “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (8:31). If God is for us, and He is, then He is capable of opening doorways to things that we could not have imagined for ourselves. We must learn to believe in the possibilities of God, the forgiveness that Jesus offers, and the power of the Holy Spirit to help us live out God’s plans and purposes. Believe that God is for you. Believe that He wants good things for you and that nothing is impossible for Him.
Prayer
Father, thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to help me live out Your plan for me. I place my trust in You and accept the forgiveness You’ve offered me. Amen.
