Real Hope: Back to Basics - the Great Commissionنموونە

Opportunities
Have I been fulfilling the Great Commission?
We call these verses the Great Commission because they tell us Jesus’ final call on our lives before He ascended to be with His Father in Heaven. As Paul put it in 2 Corinthians 5:18–20, Jesus handed on to us the ministry that He came to Earth to begin.
God’s desire for you, whether you’re a pastor, a student, an IT specialist, an accountant, or a tradesman, is that whatever you do, you lead people to Jesus Christ at the same time.
God doesn’t want you to neglect your job in order to ‘preach’ to people. Rather, look for opportunities in your everyday conversations to turn the discussion to spiritual things, to share what God means to you, to ask if you can pray with someone about something in their lives, to talk about the way to get right with God.
If they’re open and interested, keep the conversation going. If not, just wait for the right time.
