Be Still: 15 Days With God نموونە

IN HIM
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” JOHN 16:33
Someone once told me as a young believer, “Don’t doubt in the dark what the Lord has shown you in the light.” Your faith is going to be tested! Why? To prove the genuineness of it! Look at how much we struggle with what others have done to us, but the Lord has not abandoned us. He hasn’t lost sight of you! And perhaps He is just using the unfaithfulness of the people around you to squeeze you and get your eyes off of them and onto Him.
In Jesus, you can have peace. In Christ, through Christ, by Christ. You will have trouble in this world—it’s just the way it is. There’s not an easy road for the believer!
And what is the victory that overcomes the world? It’s faith. It’s trust in Him. It all comes back to Him. While all these things are going on outside of you in the world, you will have true peace within. You’re in the Lord’s hands—and there is perfect peace.

"Be still, and know that I am God;" (PSALM 46:10a). Many Christians are familiar with this verse, but do we really understand it? This exhortation applies when we are distracted by our successes, as when we are fearful and disquieted by some troublesome news. We need to learn to quiet ourselves by opening God’s Word and gaining His perspective in both cases.
