Rest in God's Approvalنموونە

Loved, Fought for, and Chosen
Father, will You help my hurting heart? Will You hold me in this mess? Will You catch me when I am falling? For I am falling now.
You are good, and You are here. You tell me I am dearly loved, that I am fought for and chosen, cherished, and desired. You love being with me. You tell me I am not alone and I don’t have to be “a slave to this phantom truth that love equals the avoidance of other people’s disappointment in me.”
So here I am, Your child, asking for Your help in surrendering my heart—my heart with all its pain. For the fear of disappointing others is a burden I no longer want to carry. Come carry me now.
I choose Your love.
And I see You.
And I hear You.
And I feel You.
Come.
Closer.
I am Yours. You are mine (Song of Solomon 2:16).
Amen.
Friend, what will you add to this prayer?
