Today we are introduced to the villain, Haman. He wants to kill off all of the Jews. Haman uses his influence and money to plot against God’s chosen people.

The people in Susa were confused by the decree against the Jews. God’s enemies come upon us unexpectedly, but they don’t surprise God. He already has a rescue plan in place. We can never be completely prepared for the future, but we can trust in God at all times. He already sees the future.
