Elevation Rhythm: Growing Pains Devotional نموونە
OVER & OVER DEVO
Lyrics
I could never grow tired
Of telling You You're worthy
There's so many ways I, could sing of Your glory
I will never get tired
Of telling You You're worthy
Over and over again
With how busy we are and how many things fight for our attention on any given day, it can be difficult to set purposeful time aside to spend with God. If we’re being honest with ourselves, some days, it doesn’t even cross our minds.
When we hit “snooze” too many times, rush to our next event, or get home tired from the day, it can be hard to carve out time.
Even more than that, God doesn’t need our praise. That may sound controversial, but in Luke 19, Jesus tells the Pharisees that if His people won’t praise Him, the stones will cry out.
He doesn’t need our praise, but that begs the question:
If God can make stones cry out in our absence, what could He do with our praise? Have we been limiting God’s hand in our life because our business has kept us at bay?
Today, put some time aside for intentionality in your relationship with God. Whether that means listening to worship music without distractions or praying or studying your Bible, do something today to draw nearer to the One who is worthy.
