Know God by Nameنموونە

Jehovah-Shammah: The Lord Is Near.
The name of God we are praying through today appears in Ezekiel 48:35 as the name of a city the prophet Ezekiel was shown in vision. These are the final words of the Book of Ezekiel, and the direct translation is “The Lord is near.”
Jehovah-Shammah: The Lord is near.
“God, You are with me. I don’t walk through this day on my own. You don’t live far away in a temple; You live in me! Even though I feel alone today, I know You are near. Thank You for being my constant companion.”
As you pray through today’s name of God:
- How did this name of God resonate with me?
- What is God teaching me?
- How can I be specific in prayer today?
After you reflect on these questions, bring everything to God in prayer.
