Waging Prophetic Warfare

DAY 2 OF 5

Wisdom in Warfare

You can receive the wisdom you need to walk according to God’s plan for you and to trample on the enemy’s assignments against your life. In the Bible, James made it clear that if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. The only catch is that you have to ask in faith, without doubting. That’s not much of a catch, and it shouldn’t be too hard to do.

God wants to give you wisdom so you can walk wise, making the best use of your time. He wants to give you wisdom in the midst of the battle so you can gain the victory—and collect the spoils. Wisdom brings joy, and the joy of the Lord is your strength in battle.

Wisdom begets wisdom. The wise man listens to advice. A man’s wisdom makes his face shine. Wise ones are cautious and turn away from evil. The words of the wise win him favor. The wise will inherit honor. Wisdom will keep and guard you if you love it.

I could go on and on, and encourage you to do a study of the benefits of walking in God’s wisdom. You already have authority in the name of Jesus. You already have the whole armor of God. What you need is the wisdom to walk in what you have.
