Love God Greatly: You Are Forgiven

DAY 16 OF 54

SOAP – Micah 7:19
God’s justice and mercy meet at the cross. No sinner can escape God’s judgment, but no sinner is beyond God’s mercy. God never ceases being merciful, but neither can He be indifferent toward evil. God always remains a compassionate and forgiving God, never condoning sin, but welcoming the repentant sinners into His loving arms.

How do you regularly experience and rejoice in God’s mercy and compassion? God’s greatest mercy is the sacrifice of His Son for our iniquities. Our worship to God includes extending that same mercy and compassion to others.

Father God, I thank You for Your perfect justice and mercy in my life. Let Your mercy overflowing in my life compel me to show that same mercy to others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
