We Pray

DAY 4 OF 28

He Answers!

Worshiping the golden calf was a sin against God, so God in His righteous anger declared His intention to destroy the Israelites but Moses interceded. And the Bible tells us that God relents and turns His anger away from the Israelites. Moses’ prayer of intercession actually moved the hand of God! What a privilege we have that we too can pray and that God hears and answers prayer.

Prayer: Lord God, let us grow as men and women of prayer. We thank you for the example in the Bible of your answering the prayer of Moses and we know we have a God who answers prayer. Let us pray in faith for ourselves and others with confidence that you hear our prayers and will answer them. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

About this Plan

We Pray

Moses prayed and pleaded with God in the wilderness to preserve his own name and character and not destroy Israel. As leaders, we must learn prayer covering and intercession for God's people. This 28-day reading plan will inspire you as you pray and intercede for others so that they truly have a revelation of God’s love.
