Be Still and Be Blessed: Devotions for Mothersنموونە
God’s Workmanship
Do you remember staring at your child for the first time? In awe of each freckle or dimple, you traced the lines of their face and breathed them in. You memorized how they smelled, how they fit into your arms, and how they sounded. You looked at your new child with awe and wonder, amazed at each tiny part. A new child is like poetry: beautiful and intricately designed.
This is how God sees you. You are his most delightful creation. You are his workmanship. He crafted you with care, purpose, and love. Each part of you was planned out and executed to perfection. No part of you is accidental or overlooked. You might be prone to look at yourself and see flaws or things you wish were different, but that is not how God sees you. You were created in Christ Jesus that you would walk in the good works that God prepared for you. He wants to see you walk in the freedom that Christ bought for you, fully belonging and fully free.
Father, help me to see myself the way you see me. Please teach me how to see you as a kind and loving father who created me as an artist creates a masterpiece. I am your workmanship, and I am thankful that you designed me the way you did. In areas where I see flaws, please help me to change my perspective. Please help me to walk in the freedom that Christ gained for me on the cross.

About this Plan
Finding time to be still in the chaos of motherhood is no simple task. Yet, when we do make time to quiet ourselves before God, something powerful happens. He gives us supernatural rest. He floods our minds with peace. He restores our joy. He whispers to our hearts that it all matters. That we matter. This plan includes devotions from "Be Still and Be Blessed: 365 Devotions for Mothers."
