Discussion Questions:
1. How has God been speaking to you through this week's Bible readings? What are some things that stuck out to you? What are some things you have learned?
2. Read 1 Samuel 21:10-15.
God gave David a clever way to escape the trouble he was facing. Recall a time where God gave you a creative idea to help you solve a problem in your own life.
3. Read Psalm 30:1-3.
David speaks about how God healed him. Have you ever experienced seeing God heal someone before? Who could use prayers for healing in your life?
4. Read Psalm 30-10-12.
It is important as believers that we learn how to express a thankful heart. Do you find it easy to express thanksgiving in your life? Can you share one thing that you are grateful for in your life?
5. Read Psalm 95:8-11, Exodus 17:5-7.
We are warned about the hard hearts that the Israelites had towards the Lord. What are some ways that we can harden our hearts? How do we keep our hearts soft before the Lord?
6. Read Psalm 92:1-5.
How can you make thanksgiving a regular practice in your life? What are the benefits of having a thankful heart?
