Don’t Let Go!

Have you ever held on to something so tight that your fingers or hand had cramps? Have you seen in the movies where a person is dangling from on high with only another person gripping their hand from the "drop of death"? Look at today's scripture with this in mind. "Hold fast to the teachings" or traditions that we have been taught from the Word. We don't simply read the Word - we study it, meditate on it, memorize it, do it, and hold on to it with our very lives.

Prayer: Father, may the Holy Spirit give us understanding of Your Word so we may hold to it and live it from our hearts. Anoint us with Your Truth so that we will not falter, slip, stumble, or let go of Your Truth. We rejoice in Your presence. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
