Becoming a Next-Level Believerنموونە
Armed and Dangerous
We are armed and dangerous! God has given you and me mighty supernatural weapons, a supernatural arsenal to draw from in spiritual battles. Worshiping warriors receive heaven’s supernatural strategies that increase their capacity to win over the powers of darkness. As we commit to worship and war, we will win. When we win, we gather the spoils of the enemy, which are the souls of captives locked in darkness. This is our goal, our strategy, our plan of attack—to take back territory for the Kingdom of God and gain citizens for King and Kingdom from among the enemy’s prisoners of war.
What kind of supernatural weapons are at our disposal, and how do we wield them? There is, of course, our battle gear comprised of the famous “armor of God” detailed in Ephesians 6:10–18 (a Scripture we read on Day 2). When we put on that full armor, we can engage and overcome the enemy, extinguishing his fiery darts and dismantling his defenses. Yet there are also important support weapons that facilitate our victory in Christ. One of these is prayer, a discipline believers often neglect. A consistent prayer life keeps you in tune with the Holy Spirit.
Another support weapon is tongues. God will arm you as a believer with a supernatural language so you can pray in the Spirit. This weapon strengthens and edifies you, and it activates the gifts of the Spirit within you.
A third support weapon is binding and loosing, an important strategy in overcoming the enemy’s power. God has fully authorized you to forbid and/or release things on earth, with heaven’s support backing up your actions.
Praise and worship, too, are vital support weapons at your disposal. These are not passive pastimes but are active efforts that both honor God and punish principalities and powers in the Spirit.
Finally and incomparably, there are the name and blood of Jesus. How are next-level believers able to cast out devils, heal the sick, speak with new tongues, and receive supernatural protection from evil? Our authority is in the name of Jesus, a name higher than any other. Demons fear His name because He defeated them at Calvary. Likewise, Jesus’ blood is a mighty weapon. By faith in His blood, you and I received salvation. Now, we must use the weapons God has put at our disposal to carry that Kingdom message to the world.
About this Plan
Next-level believers are anointed to influence every sphere of society and represent God on the earth. Passionate and proactive rather than passive, they engage the surrounding culture in their cities, regions and nations and push back darkness with the Kingdom of God’s light. With God-given power and authority, next-level believers arise as the Church and enforce the victories Christ won at Calvary, setting the enemy’s captives free along the way.
