Our God Is ____ ?نموونە

Do you remember back to the huge craze of Christians wearing WWJD bracelets. If not, it's totally fine (hehe). The bracelet WWJD meant "What would Jesus Do?" and encouraged you to think, act and be like Jesus. What would He do in every situation. Though impossible, a nice thought and daily reminder. The real role of Christians (or "little Christ's) is to follow in the way he loved His father and how He loved people. 

Ever heard someone say, "They are a Christian and they acted like that?" Whether a correct or incorrect judgement, there is a clear expectation for people, including the not-yet-christians that we should look, live and sound like Jesus, that is because of the incredible way in which Jesus lived on this earth. This verse encourages us to not simply talk the talk, but "walk in the ways of Jesus." 

How does this happen you ask? By hanging out with him. He wants relationship, he desires intimacy, and over time he begins to shape you, if you surrender and allow him. Like a mature friendship, where each person knows the other so well...and in this case, a friendship with a Saviour God who gives life, hope and peace through His presence. 

Reflection: 

Spend 2 minutes picturing Jesus face and don't say a word. Just enjoy the silence with him. 

Prayer:

Jesus, help me to JUST be with you, to love you, and feel your presence. I prayer that you will continually shape my thoughts and actions to be like yours.
