Modesty, Purity, and Honoring God With Your Body.نموونە
It is our responsibility to take care of our body as it is a temple of the Holy Spirit. Choosing how we dress, how we nurture it, and how we walk in it can honor God or cause us to grieve the Holy Spirit and live apart from him (Ephesians 4:30).
When we come to Christ and give our lives to him, we are made into a NEW creation.
All the old is wiped clean, and his blood stains us white as snow. Entering the new, means there are plenty of things you once used to do that you cannot bring with you. This may include your wardrobe. We are a representation of God, as we are made in his image. You love God in your heart, but do you love him in the way you live, dress, and carry yourself? In your deciding to remain pure and to abstain from sexual sin?
You don't have to do this on your own, nor do you need to carry the weight of shame or guilt any longer. Jesus sets us free from this weight, and any condemning voices are from the enemy, not God.
God convicts, but it is the enemy that condemns. You are NOT unworthy, incapable, dirty, or unlovable. In the sight of God, you are as delicate as you were the day he formed you in your Mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and his love covers and washes it all away, leaving you without blemish or wrinkle.
