Fear / Less نموونە
Fear and storms.
Recall the story where Jesus and His disciples cross over the Sea of Galilee on a suddenly stormy night. As waves crash over and nearly swamp the boat, fear grips the hearts of the disciples, but Jesus is found to be fast asleep at the stern. The disciples were experienced fishermen who were used to the conditions of the raging waters, but this storm was unlike the others. They wake Jesus up and say, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”
That evening, Jesus asked the disciples to cross over to the other side, and they did as He asked. The disciples weren’t outside of God’s will. You can be right in the middle of what God has called you to and still hit a storm. This doesn’t mean that you’ve done something wrong or something to deserve it. God is still with you and He is leading you. A storm is no indication that you have stepped off course. In fact, a storm can happen when you are in the middle of God’s will. Even if you have stepped off course, don’t heap condemnation or guilt on yourself, but walk forward with the confidence that God is with you.
