God Speaks نموونە
Have you ever found yourself stuck, lost, confused, and unsure of which way to turn? At some point in our lives, we may find ourselves at a crossroad with decisions that need to be made. As followers of Jesus, be challenged today and consider, ‘who am I seeking direction and answers from?’
I don’t know about you, but I rely heavily on my phone’s Maps app to get me from A to B. Thankfully when it comes to the most difficult choices in life, we have God as our very own ‘nav man' (He’s only far more powerful!) You see, in order for my Maps app to guide me, I need to ensure my phone is charged, type in the destination, and I need to listen to and follow its instructions. The same can be said when God is in control of our direction in life. Have you ‘charged’ your relationship with God through spending time with Him in prayer, worship, and His word? Have you sought God in prayer, really listened to His response, and then acted upon His word?
As believers, our desire should be to follow God’s direction for our lives. The truth is, we cannot be led if we do not know, hear, and follow God’s voice. But how do we know when God is speaking? A good place to start is by reading God’s word. Ask Him to make the words come alive, so that you would receive the revelation of who God is. When we read His word it dwells in our hearts and we begin to understand His character and know His voice.
Let’s face it, our society is filled with voices, opinions, and noise. Social media is loud, politicians are loud, and celebrities are loud. When you are faced with a challenge, decision, or dilemma, where do you first turn for guidance? Google, a colleague, an inspirational quote online? Be encouraged today that if you find yourself in a place that leaves you questioning which way to go and which path to take, turn first to THE voice, God’s voice. Rather than turning to the answers of the world, turn to God through prayer and reading His word.
Though our lives may be filled with many challenges, choices, and difficulties, God promises to walk with us through it all. Whenever you find yourself at a crossroad be sure to turn and listen to God’s voice.
Prayer: Dear God, thank You for Your word. Thank You for Your faithfulness in our lives. Lord, we ask that in a world full of noise, You would help us to hear Your voice above it all. God, we ask that as we seek You through time spent in Your word, that You would help us hear Your voice so clearly. Thank You for who You are in our lives. In Jesus Name, Amen.
About this Plan

People that we can impact in our every day spaces and lives. Let’s read God Speaks and delve into the ways God speaks to us, and learn how we can apply this to our every day lives.
