Pass It Onنموونە
Let’s be honest. Doing the right thing isn't easy. Every day, you are faced with situations that demand a choice. For example, will you speak well of a classmate when others gossip to appear funny or cool? When given an opportunity to cheat on a test, do you choose to do the work yourself? Or when someone asks you to do something you know isn't the best decision, do you stand your ground? If doing the right thing under pressure is a struggle, you aren’t alone.
In the Bible, there was a young leader in the church named Timothy. He faced lots of difficult choices and needed a reminder that he wasn’t alone when things got hard. Just like Timothy, when we face opposition for doing what’s right, we don’t have to be afraid. We can lean on God and others we trust for strength. When we do, we have an opportunity to be an example of God's character. This is such a practical way to pass on the good news, by being an example.
The next time you have a hard time choosing what's best, how can you be encouraged?

About this Plan
These days, you see a lot of people using their social media platforms to talk about themselves. But Scripture is filled with stories about "influencers" who made a name for themselves talking about Jesus is and what Jesus came to do. In this 20-day devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll be challenged to share the good news of Jesus like the early apostles did.
