Evangelism
Often, sharing a story about ourselves is easy, exciting, and fun. Can you think of a time you shared a personal story with someone — an adventure you went on, a book you read, or something cool you learned?
Evangelism is a BIG word that might seem intimidating, but it just means sharing the story of Jesus with others — telling people about who He is and what He’s done for you.
When we have a relationship with Jesus, we shouldn’t keep what He’s done for us a secret. We should shout it from the rooftops. He’s the ultimate game changer, and others need His love, truth, and salvation!
One of the best ways to tell people about Jesus is to live a godly life. Show those around you that you care — spend time with them, help them, and listen to them. Respect them! And tell them about your faith in Jesus.
You might not be perfect or have all the answers, but you have a story. Share the good news of Jesus with those around you — who He is to you, what He’s done in your life, and why He came and died for us — this is evangelism.
Ask yourself: How can you show others respect when you tell them about Jesus? Can you think of some ways you can tell people about Jesus without saying anything at all?
Challenge yourself: Learn 1 Peter 3:15 so you will be ready to tell people about Jesus and all He has done in your life and the hope you have.
Pray: God, thank You for sending Your son Jesus to die for me. Give me the courage, words, and desire to share the love and truth of Jesus with everyone around me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

About this Plan
Respect is caring enough to consider how our words and actions impact others. In this four-day devotional, we’ll learn how we can respect God and those around us when we submit to authority, give generously, worship wholeheartedly, and tell others about Jesus. We will explore Bible stories and listen to clips from the eKidz family podcast, “Adventures Of The StarKeepers,” to help us apply these lessons to our lives.
