Trusting for Today Instead of Troubling for Tomorrow نموونە
Jesus speaking to many different kinds of people tells of His own mindset. He was speaking to day-laborers whose financial situations would have been quite precarious. He would have also spoken to those who had a lot of security in their positions of power, religious thinking, and material possessions. Jesus was en route to the cross and afflicted with many troubles. He was about to experience insurmountable rejection, hate, separation from the Father, misunderstanding by those He came to reach, mockery, physical pain, and death. While He’s speaking to people, He was also opening His world to share what He endured for us. We can trust for today rather than living troubled about tomorrow. Jesus was being filled with strength while trusting in the Father. We can easily consider all the issues of tomorrow, but we have grace for today.
