Ten Qualities of a Kingdom Business Ownerنموونە
Quality #10
Have a cause that all of the employees can engage with. Allow them to be involved in selecting the cause.
Being a part of something much bigger than you is exciting! One of my corporate chaplaincy clients wanted a cause that would make an impact and change lives. A cause that all his employees would embrace, and even consider volunteering at! The bank CEO partnered with a non-profit organization and agreed to help raise funds to dig water wells in third-world countries. Immediately they all began gathering funds to that end. With over 5,000 children dying every single day because of water-borne diseases, digging as many water wells as possible and as quickly as possible became the mission. It takes about 2,200 dollars for each water well to be dug. Natives were carrying water from muddy ditches over five miles away, and these wells could be dug right in the middle of their villages and change the lives of every person in the village!
The bank employees, customers, suppliers, and even people in their communities, began chipping in, and tens of thousands of dollars were donated for clean water wells. Dozens and dozens of wells were dug for villages to have fresh clean water. The mission of the bank was and still is, “Building Better Lives!”
What is your cause? What can you and your employees do to unify yourselves and make a difference in our world? Have you ever considered what a huge difference you can make? How can you and your team change the world? What are you waiting for? Dive in and be a difference maker! All these qualities are the qualities of a kingdom business owner! We need every one of you believers to become a kingdom business owner! We are happy to come alongside and assist in whatever way makes the most impact.
About this Plan
"I’ve had the privilege of walking through numerous businesses over the past thirty-five years as a corporate chaplain. The experience of interacting with business owners and observing how these owners operate their businesses and involve their employees, is the foundation I’m coming from for this Bible plan." -Ernest F. Parrish
