A Life of Greater Exploitsنموونە
'JUST ENOUGH' IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
Have you ever paused to think of what would have become of the gospel and the names of Christ’s disciples if they had ignored Christ’s calling and continued in their previous professions?
Let’s consider the first set of disciples; these men were called while doing their job - fishing. However, catching fishes was not enough; there was more to them. They were to be fishers of men. ‘Just enough’ isn’t good enough; there is more to you. Consider Gideon who was the youngest son of a poor family, who had suffered greatly at the hands of the Midianites. He must have thought he was doing fine considering the times. Still, God had more for him; he was called to save Israel from the Midianites.
The Bible is filled with other numerous characters such as Moses, Amos, Paul, Matthew etc. who were called from their initial sphere of influence to a greater calling and impact. God had always been in the business of elevating men from ‘good and enough’ situations to greater callings and impact. These men were willing to trust God and commit their future into His hands; this takes great courage. Are you willing to take a step of faith too?
Confession: I break away from the inertia of ‘just enough’; I key into God’s agenda for my life. I am more, I do more, I achieve God’s will and purpose for my life.
About this Plan
God has called us to be greater, despite the shaking going on around us. For us to be all we're called to be, there are certain things we must know and do.
