Out of the Boat نموونە

Like the disciples, we can feel a mix of fear and faith within our everyday lives.  As we step out of the boat, we will cry out when we’re sinking.  We all have the need of saving! When we step out of the boat, there will be times when we will sink, where we will mess up, where we will doubt, or where we will feel like we are drowning.  We all must recognize our need for God’s intervention. God does His best creative work in the midst of our chaos. 

David cried out to God for help at some of his lowest points. When we find ourselves sinking and we cry out to Jesus, He will save us. While circumstances won’t always look like we’d hope, He still saves. When He saves us, it’s for our own rescue, but God is always up to something bigger. Our rescue and salvation are always a part of seeing His kingdom come to earth and seeing people reached with love and compassion.
