God Is

DAY 2 OF 4

One of the most basic needs of every person is safety. We all have an innate need to feel safe. Now, more than ever, that need has increasingly been heightened. Our news feeds are filled with gun violence, horrible car crashes, and so much more. There may be times where you don't even feel safe in your own home, school, or work place. Parents may feel hopeless protecting their children, knowing that they can't protect them from everything. Instead of living with that anxiety, God promises that not only can we cast those fears to Him, but He'll protect us too.

What I've found to be true about God is that if He makes a promise, He keeps it. And so many times throughout the bible we see God's protection covering His people. He protected Rahab from the destruction her town faced, Daniel from the mouths of lions, the three Hebrew boys from the fire, and all of us from the payment of sin. God sees the beginning from the end, meaning He knows we need His protection in our daily lives.

Our job is to trust God to fulfill His promises. If He said He will protect you, know that He will do just that.

Recite the following scriptures and write them down where you can easily grab them. Keep the promises of God's protection in your heart.

About this Plan

God Is

In seasons of uncertainty, we tend to search for answers wherever we can find them. Our eyes are glued to social media, news channels, and the voices of many. But whether you're searching for the right path to take, protection, a provider, or peace of mind; I challenge you to find the answer in God. After all, everything we need...God Is.
