Meet My Head Coach

DAY 1 OF 5

1st Quarter. This is the Game Plan

A coach always has a plan on how to play and win a game. First, he looks at his team to see how they are playing. Next he considers the opposing team with their strengths and weaknesses. Then after looking at all the aspects of the game, he comes up with a plan. God has done the very same thing. He has looked at us very closely and everything we face in life then has come up with a plan. He wants us on His team, to follow His game plan, and to win by knowing, loving, and enjoying Him forever.

“These are the commands, decrees, and laws the Lord your God directed me to teach you to observe ... so that you, your children, and their children after them may fear the Lord your God as long as you live by keeping all His decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life.” Deuteronomy 6:1-2

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and with all your mind.” Matthew 22:37

“This is eternal life: that they might know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ.” John 17:3

Time Out: God is personally and deeply concerned about you. Are you convinced you have eternal life? If not, you need another game plan.

About this Plan

Meet My Head Coach

We love basketball. I have been playing the game as long as I can remember. But basketball is not the most important thing to me. Life is. Just like basketball, life needs a good head coach. I’d like to introduce you to mine. He truly has a winning game plan for all of us.
