Feed Your Faithنموونە
I do good things to grow my faith in Jesus!
Sometimes people think, “Why do I need to do good things to grow my faith?”
James 2:26 tells why. If someone isn’t doing any good things to show their faith, their faith is dead! It’s sick, weak, and all worn out.
That might sound kind of crazy, but think about it. You have to feed your body with good food and exercise to stay healthy and to grow strong. Faith is the same way. But faith doesn’t eat food, and jumping jacks don’t help it out. Faith needs you to do good things to feed it and exercise it. That’s how you keep your faith healthy and growing strong.
Here are some good things you can do to feed your faith: obey God, read the Bible, worship God, pray, or help others. What other good things can you think of?
Take some time to exercise your faith and your body at the same time! Watch the verse motions video, then do a God’s Word Workout to help you remember James 2:26.
