Everyday Life in Revelation: Part 4 the Sealsنموونە
At last, we come to the opening of the seventh seal. Heaven, so far, has been a busy place full of activity and sound. Upon the opening of this seal, Heaven is stone quiet. This with worth reflecting upon. Prophets from the Old Testament call for silence before God’s judgment would be dispensed. This is one aspect for the silence, no doubt.
We also see that God is so attentive to the prayers of His saints that He is willing to silence heaven to hear them. These prayers are for God to serve justice to those situations where injustice pervaded. These prayers, in some cases, cause the judgment to occur based upon the connection to the censor that is being cast to earth.
Never doubt the power and effectiveness of prayer, when it comes to advancing God’s plan. Here, the saints pray for judgment, and judgment happens. Not all prayer gets answered immediately, but all prayer is heard, and the Lord does respond to all His children as they pray. Our prayers do matter, and they do affect things on this earth and in heaven.
