Book of 2 Thessalonians

DAY 2 OF 3

DON'T BE EASILY SHIFTED, BE STRONG

I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. (Revelation 3:11)

When we look at the present age and what is written in the Bible, we will find out that many things have been fulfilled. The word of God is His heart, His ways, His teachings, and His warnings. If His Word says that He will come soon, it means that it will surely happen.

Jesus is coming soon and we are asked to prepare ourselves to welcome His coming. Even though many people ask why it has not yet happened, we know that He desires all men to come to Him for salvation of their souls.

For the believers, the second coming of Christ is something that we hope for. He will rule as the King of kings. He will appoint us to reign with Him on this earth. Are we longing for His coming? Are we eager to experience His Kingdom’s reign on this earth?

One of the signs of His coming is the appearance of deceivers on earth. Paul speaks of some who claimed to be The Messiah but had false teachings. We must guard ourselves against all of these. We have to sit at daily at God's feet and have an intimate relationship with Him so that we are filled with the Holy Spirit and can sort out what is true and what is false.

Let’s us become like a building that is built on a solid rock foundation and not on the sand.
