Kingdom Builders: How to Live an "All In" Life

DAY 2 OF 7

Allow Him to be Your Everything

When you put God first, everything flows as a consequence. Opportunity flows. Resources flow. The heavens literally are poured out. The book of Malachi presents you with the one Scripture in the whole Bible where God asks you to test Him.

Perhaps you are wondering why God doesn’t seem to be working in your life. Today, be encouraged to step over that line to trust God to be your everything. Maybe you’re still trying to control your life and live it in your own strength. Choose to surrender. You simply have to trust God and allow Him to be your Everything.

What are you still holding onto? What are you putting before God? What is holding you back from going “all-in” with Him? Whatever that thing is will never satisfy because there can only be one, true God in your life. You see, the tap of blessing is on full. It’s you who determines how much of God’s blessing is poured out in your lives. This type of faith is an “all-in” kind of faith.

The Gospel of Mark tells a story about an encounter Jesus has with a rich young man who comes to Him wanting to know the secret to eternal life. Here’s the hard truth: going “all-in” is going to cost you. However, the promise of God is that whatever you give up will be multiplied many times over. Don’t be like the rich young man who couldn’t give up his everything. Instead, trust God to be your everything and watch what happens!
