Step 1: Read the passage slowly 1-2 times. Notice what words or phrases stand out
Step 2: Read the passage again. Ask yourself, “what is happening in my life that might need these words spoken into it?
Step 3: Read the passage again, asking God what he wants to say to you through these words.
Step 4: Read the passage one final time and respond to God about what you heard.
