Get Out of My Mind

DAY 15 OF 28

Sometimes we get so used to experiencing bad and imperfect things that when a good thing comes along, we find ourselves saying “That’s suspicious . . . that’s weird.” Instead of enjoying ourselves, we worry and wait for something to go wrong. In this verse we’re reminded that not only is God for us, giving us good and perfect gifts, but also that he can be trusted. If he were intentional enough to create the sun, the moon, and the stars for us, we can trust he will not change and he is not out to play “shifting shadow” tricks on us. How will you remind yourself this week that God is good and He can be trusted?
