God Speaks: Easterنموونە
Day Three
Look to the hills, to the high plains and the great mountains. Will your help come from the heights? Strain your eyes to the heavens, will direction be found in the stars? Perhaps the deep of the ocean will offer the answers you seek. Maybe the expanse of human wisdom will give you the strength you crave. Yet no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has perceived and no heart has considered the things which I have prepared for you because you love me. I am God and you are not. My ways are not your ways. My thoughts are not your thoughts. You seek me, but you cannot find me because you seek me where I cannot be found. Humble yourself before me and I will lift you up. I will show you where to look. Draw near to me and I will draw near to you and show you great and mighty things. In me you live fully alive. I am your source. The one true God. I do not change. Seek me. Look to me. Learn from me. I am gentle and humble in heart. Come to me and find rest for your soul.
Reflect: Where am I looking for help?

About this Plan
The idea that we can hear God speak may seem presumptuous, but throughout the Bible we see God interacting with His creation. If we quiet our racing thoughts and be still for a moment, we can hear Him. Easter is God’s most profound declaration to humanity. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, we get to hear God speak a powerful message of forgiveness and love.
