The Heart Attitudes: Part 5نموونە
Clear Up Relationships
Ephesians 4:31-32, “All bitterness, anger and wrath, shouting and slander must be removed from you, along with all malice. And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”
Relationships are never perfect. Because they are made of at least two imperfect people. Even if you do not believe that you are imperfect, you know the others are! Being in relationship to other humans is messy. Conflict is inevitable. How you deal with it determines how the relationship will continue or end!
This week we will examine how to respond differently to others when you are offended or when you have offended someone else. We see how to respond in each of those situations as well as looking at other factors found in the verses above.
The key is that if we have been forgiven by God in Christ, then we must choose to forgive others as well. The choice is ours to make! Just as God chose to put into motion the plan to forgive us before we ever knew we needed forgiving, we must choose to have a plan to forgive others and seek their forgiveness before others even know that there is a problem.
