Who You Say I Am – Part 2نموونە

Imagine being trapped in a room, only to realise that the whole time, you had access to the key that would set you free. You were free the whole time but you were living like you were trapped. Why would we want to stay trapped when we could be free? When we're living locked up, we are living a life that is limited, tight, enclosed and small-minded. We don't need to live locked up in sin when Jesus has set us free!
If Jesus has set you free, don't live locked up! Sometimes a person may have accepted Jesus as their Saviour, know that they're forgiven but they still live as if they are trapped in sin – feeling guilty, sad, not good enough or like they will never measure up. The truth is that Jesus died on the cross and rose again so we can be forgiven and free. Because of Jesus we are free from sin, free from guilt and shame. When we know Jesus' forgiveness and freedom we can hold our head up high. When we're set free it's not just a little bit free, the chains aren't just loosened a little, the chains are broken! I am who God says I am, and He says I am free.
Read today’s verses to see what Jesus said about being set free.
