The Gospel of Mark

DAY 34 OF 42

  Reflection Questions

1. How had the widow given more than the rich? How can we steward our resources in such a way that allows us to give them back to God?

2. What does Mark 13:10 teach us about God’s heart for the nations? If Jesus will not return until the gospel has reached every nation, what can you do today to bring the gospel to unreached places?

3. Why is it important for us to be ready for Christ’s return? What can we do to prepare ourselves for His return?

4. How does the story of the woman from Bethany challenge you in your practice of worship? How can you worship Jesus the way she did?

5. Both the widow in the temple and the woman from Bethany gave Jesus everything they had. What does this tell us about the way we should give and the way we should worship?

About this Plan

The Gospel of Mark

The Gospel of Mark is a powerful account of the life of Jesus. It displays the character of Jesus on every page, from His willingness to suffer and serve to His power and deity miraculously displayed. With every scene the author asks, “Where is your faith?” As we read and study the Gospel of Mark we can’t help but answer this important question.
