Love God Greatly: Shame Breakerنموونە
It is okay to cry for that which you longed to have but have not yet received. For some it may be a spouse; for others it may be the life you planned, or maybe it is a longing for a home full of children or a friend to know the Lord. It is okay to cry for these things. But even in our longing, we can rejoice and praise the Lord for what He has given us.
This life is hard. It is filled with disappointment, loss, hardship, and sadness. But our God is the God who redeems. He redeems our disappointments and our shame. There will come a day when all will be made right, when the faithful will be rewarded, when God’s children will be covered in a blanket of peace and rest. Our shame will not win in the end. We serve a God who redeems.
Lord, You are good to Your children. Though I do not always recognize Your goodness, I believe You are good. When I am overwhelmed, help me to see beyond my circumstances to the hope and future I have in You. In Jesus’s name, amen.

About this Plan
Do you find yourself struggling with shame in your life? Shame seeks to keep us from living the faith-filled life God has planned. Instead of living out our potential, shame cloaks us in regret, insecurity, and doubt. Shame Breaker is a four-week Bible study on how God redeems us from the power of shame. He was and is the ultimate Shame Breaker.
