Fall but Not Cast Down
Psalm 37:24
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down.
Imagine this. One fine evening, you and your parents were having an evening stroll near your house. In the midst of walking, you did not see a small stone in front of you and somehow you stumbled and fell. Your parents saw it, and they immediately helped you get up on your feet and held you with their hands so that you could continue walking.
In the same way, God always upholds you with His mighty hand. No matter what happens, you are safe. You may stumble or have a fall because of the problems or challenges you are facing but God’s hand upholds yours tightly so that you will not be utterly cast down in the midst of your situation. He will sustain you so that you may regain your balance and strength and continue walking.
Every step in your life is designed and directed by God. He is in charge of the details of your life. Even when you feel like you are falling, please bear this in mind, God never leaves you. So, rise up and walk with God!
Prayer
Dear God, thank You for Your mighty hands that uphold me always. Amen.
